Hyderabad: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on Tuesday called on Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan and Union Minister of State for Home Affairs G Kishan Reddy and submitted a memorandum requesting them to order CBI probe into the whole episode of suicide of TDP senior leader and former AP Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao.
The TDP delegation led by party State unit president L Ramana called on the Governor and Union Home Minister and submitted a memorandum.
They requested them to intervene and order for thorough enquiry regarding the highhandedness of the ruling party leaders in the suicide of the senior TDP leader.
There is a clear case of political vendetta harassment of ruling party against their political opponents more particularly Kodela.
The law and order is deteriorating day by day and the people are forced to leave their villages so as to protect their lives from the ruling party leaders.
The leaders pleaded with Tamilisai and Kishan Reddy to come to the rescue of the opposition leaders in Andhra Pradesh.
