He was the guest lecturer at a programme at Swami Vivekananda High School, Padmakshi Lane, Hanamkonda on Tuesday.

Enlightening the teachers of their role in students' lives, Prof Narasimha Rao added that the persons, who are educated, can help the society also. He remembered his teacher Prof Hara Gopal and how he had influenced him to become what is he now.

He said that a good teacher will have a lasting impression and influence on his students and told the teachers whether they are here by choice or chance.

'Teachers should love their teaching profession and should be clear in expression and language. Their handwriting, which shows their mentality, should be good. Teachers ought to be sincere and very good in behaviour.

They should maintain institutional image so that the school is honoured,' he explained the teachers for about three hours.School principal D Uma Rao,Directors Dr Somi Reddy, Ch Manikya Rao and T Venkateshwarlu, teachers and others were present. The directors felicitated Prof Narasimha Rao with a shawl and a gift.
