Hyderabad: There was a marked fall in the night temperatures by 4.1 degrees Celsius or less at one or two places in the State during the last 24 hours ending at 8.30 am on Tuesday, according to a bulletin issued by IMD.

It said there was an appreciable fall in the minimum temperatures ranging from -2.1 to -4 degrees Celsius at one or two places in Telangana. They were appreciably above normal by 3.1 to 5 degrees Celsius at a few places.

The bulletin said the night temperatures were above normal by 1.6 to 3 degrees Celsius at most places in the State. The lowest minimum temperature of 14.7 degrees Celsius was recorded in Adilabad.

The other temperatures registered across the State were: Dundigal 15.5, Bhadrachalam 16.6, Medak 16.8, Ramagundam 17, Hyderabad 17.2, Hakimpet 17.8, Nizamabad 18.5, Hanamkonda & Nalgonda 19, Mahbubnagar 19.5, Khammam 22.2.

According to the forecast, the night temperatures from December 2 to 7 are likely to be 17, 17, 18, 18, 18 and 18 degrees Celsius respectively. On December 3 the sky would be generally cloudy with light rain on account of the cyclonic storm moving towards south Tamil Nadu coast. On the other days partly cloudy sky with haze is the forecast.
