Schools reopen in Telangana: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao instructed the officials to take up all the necessary arrangements to re-open the schools for Class 9 and above from February 1. This is also applicable to all the private schools in the state.

The decision has been taken in the high-level meeting convened by the Chief Minister with district collectors and other officials on Monday at Pragati Bhavan. The CM also directed the officials to make arrangements for the COVID-19 vaccine distribution in the state from January 16.

Besides, he instructed the revenue officials to resolve all the issues related to the revenue department and also asked them to complete all the necessary changes and additions in the Dharani portal in a week.

The CM further directed the officials to fill up all the vacant posts immediately after completing all promotions in the respective departments.

Officials were also asked to take up Construction of Vainkunta Dhamam and integrated market complexes in all the urban areas.
