Three officials suspended for dereliction of duties
Three officials were suspended for dereliction of duties in Wanaparthy and Mahbubnagar districts on Monday by the respective District Collectors, Swetha Mahanty and Ronald Rose.

In Mahbubnagar, District Collector Ronald Rose suspended an MGNREGA field assistant Parashuram for not reporting to the Collector. When the Collector asked for a response, it seems the field assistant has given response in an irresponsible manner. Having learned that the person is not fit for the job, the Collector issued the suspension orders.
Similarly, District Collector Swetha Mahanty who visited Palam village on a surprise visit found that field assistant and village secretary had failed in their duties to spread awareness about individual household latrines and failed to construct 301 IHHLs and not distributed about Rs 16 lakh amount to the beneficiaries. Not satisfied with the officials work, the Collector issued suspension orders.
