A 3-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by two women staff at a daycare centre in Izzat Nagar The incident took place on April 10 and came to light on Sunday.
The parents' of the girl lodged a complaint saying that two women employees Narsamma and Parveena sexually assaulted their daughter following which she fell sick and was taken to a hospital.
The police after an inquiry suspected that sharp objects like stones, sticks were inserted into the minor's private parts.
However, the two women employees went absconding after the incident. The police are on the lookout for the accused. Meanwhile, Achyut Rao of Balala Hakkula Sangam demanded to shut down the school immediately and arrest the persons.
