Tractor mows down 22 year old woman in Nalgonda
A woman riding pillion was killed on the spot when a tractor carrying sand hit the bike on which she was travelling.
Kanagal (Nalgonda): A woman riding pillion was killed on the spot when a tractor carrying sand hit the bike on which she was travelling. The bike rider suffered injuries in the accident that took place at Sheri Lingotam of Kangal mandal in the district on Wednesday. The deceased was identified as Nagamani (22) of the same village.
According to sources, Nagamani along with a person, Sathish, was heading towards Nalgonda from their native place Sheri Lingotam on a bike. When they reached the outskirts of the village, the driver of a tractor carrying sand lost control and collided with the bike head on. In this incident, pillion rider Nagamani, who fell from the bike, came under the wheels of tractor and crushed. Death was instant for Nagamani.
It is learnt that Nagamani got married just eight months ago. A pall of gloom descended on the village over the sudden death of the woman. villagers urged the police and officials concerned to control the speed of vehicles. Based on the complaint of deceased woman's father, Kanagal SI Sathish Reddy registered a case and took up the investigation.
