Though the incident occurred on Monday, it came to light on Tuesday after his family members recognised him. Kalyan's betrothal was also scheduled on November 14.
Kalyan, a resident of Ambedkar Nagar of Ram Nagar division was residing with his parents Vijay Kumar and Vijaya Lakshmi, two brothers and a sister. His parents wailed that his son was awaiting a successful life with his selection for a constable post.
The police registered a case and are probing into it.
