Karimnagar: Health Minister Eatala Rajender appealed the party leaders and cadre to work hard to ensure that the party could win 16 seats in the State in the coming up Lok Sabha elections.

He said it's became a tradition for Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to start everything from Karimnagar while speaking to the media at a private hotel here on Thursday. KCR will start Lok Sabha election campaign from Karimnagar on March 17. About 2.5 lakh people from seven assembly constituencies under Karimnagar Lok Sabha constituency will be attending the meeting, he added. Rajender stated that people, who gave bumper majority to the TRS in the recently held Assembly elections, are eager to do the same again in the Lok Sabha elections.

Former MP Boinapalli Vinod Kumar actively participated in the separate Telangana movement and as MP he worked hard and took initiation for sanctioning several funds for the development of Karimnagar. There is a need to give bumper majority to the TRS MP candidate B Vinod Kumar, Rajender said.

The TRS leaders and cadre present in the seven constituencies must work like soldiers and should mobilise maximum number of people for the meeting.

All arrangements were made for conducting the meeting successfully, which will be held on March 17 in Karimnagar.
