TRS membership drive to continue till Aug 10
Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Thursday informed that TRS Working President K. Tarakarama Rao would visit several areas of Hyderabad to review the ongoing membership drive.
Hyderabad: Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Thursday informed that TRS Working President K. Tarakarama Rao would visit several areas of Hyderabad to review the ongoing membership drive.
Speaking to media persons here, Srinivas Yadav said that the TRS membership drive in Hyderabad got delayed due to Bonaulu festival. Therefore, the party has decided to extend the membership drive till August 10 to cover all the areas. He said KTR would visit different areas to review their progress. He said committees would be formed immediately after the completion of the membership drive.
The Minister also clarified regarding his video clip being circulated in social media. He confirmed that the video was shot while he was dancing during the Bonalu festival. However, he said the original video has been tampered to add a song and some voice that makes him look dancing in an inebriated condition. He clarified that he did not consume alcohol. He said a complaint has been lodged with the police seeking action against those who tampered with the video.
