TRS men file 106 nominations for Thirumalayapalem ZPTC

With the pink party entrusting the job of issuing B-forms to local MLAs, the former MLAs and party senior leaders along with their supporters are bemused. Further, unhappy with a local MLA giving tickets to his supporters, the followers of Tummala Nageswara Rao submitted 106 nominations for Thirumalayapalem ZPTC position.
The situation in erstwhile Khammam district is unlike any other districts in the State with TRS party failing to perform well in Assembly elections and later recapturing power in the district by luring opposition MLAs into its fold. Rega Kantha Rao from Pinapaka, Vanama Venkateswar Rao from Kothagudem, Banothu Haripriya from Yellandu, Kandala Upender Reddy from Paleru, Ramulu Naik from Wyra and Sandra Venkata Veeraiah from Sathupalli migrated to TRS after winning MLA seat competing from other parties. Although, they haven't officially joined the TRS party, they are campaigning for it.
As the new MLAs hold power in the party, there is an apparent dissatisfaction among senior leaders and former MLAs. The supporters of former MLAs and senior leaders are now busy rallying the MLAs for tickets. With the MLAs offering tickets only to their supporters, the internal fights between the leaders have touched the peaks.
Angry with Paleru MLA Kandala Upender Reddy offering all the MPTC and ZPTC tickets only to his followers, the followers of Tummala Nageswara Rao started a rebellion against the party and the leader by submitting 106 nominations for Thirumalayapalem ZPTC position.
As the first phase of the nominations already over, the leaders hope to get tickets to their supporters and resolve these internal conflicts. Meanwhile, it is heard that the high command is trying to resolve the conflict by offering 40 per cent of tickets to candidates proposed by Ex-MLAs and senior leaders.
