TSBIE fully prepared to conduct intermediate exams: Secretary
Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) Secretary Syed Omer Jaleel on Saturday claimed that the Board was fully prepared to conduct the forthcoming Intermediate Pubic Examinations (IPE) March 2020 in a smooth manner.
Hyderabad: Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) Secretary Syed Omer Jaleel on Saturday claimed that the Board was fully prepared to conduct the forthcoming Intermediate Pubic Examinations (IPE) March 2020 in a smooth manner.
"This time, all the pre & post examination and result processing works have been given to the Centre for Good Governance (CGG). The CGG had already been doing the works of TSBIE since back 10 years for pre-examination works like., admission process, student services, examination fee collection, nominal rolls, Hall Tickets generation, practical examinations and ethics and human values examinations. This time the post-examination works and result processing has also been entrusted to C.G.G., which is having the experience to conduct tests and process results in various departments in Telangana State including TSPSC," he said.
Dismissing the reports that appeared in a section of media on the scanning of answer sheets, Omer Jaleel said that nearly 60 lakhs Answer Scripts were manually corrected and valued by the Examiners/Junior Lecturers at respective spot valuation camps; these are not scanned as published in the News Papers.
"The decision to give responsibility to C.G.G. was taken keeping the interest of students in mind. It was decided to give pre and post-exam work to C.G.G. considering the difficulties faced last year with a private service provider. CGG is a government agency with experience of working with TSBIE and also other Government Departments. It processes much more complex processes for other Department like TSPSC. All software will be test audited and tested with previous DATA before implementation. Till date, there are no problems with the software created by C.G.G. The C.G.G. also gave Window to students to check their details online before the issue of Hall Ticket, which was not done earlier. All of this is being done to remove any possibility of the problem at later date and for transparency," the TSBIE Secretary said.
The Secretary said that the officials who have been entrusted the examination work were experienced and so far admission process, student services, examination fee payments, nominal rolls, Students Checklist and centre constitution have been completed successfully. TSBIE is also taking the services of experienced retired persons for smooth conduct of exams and processing of results, he said.
"All the Board officials are perfectly monitoring all the preparations for conducting examinations. Instructions are given to the District Officers continuously through video conference. The students and parents need not worry about the examinations and results," Omer Jaleel said.
