Two notorious property offenders detained
V C Sajjanar, Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad has invoked PD Act as against two notorious property offenders named K Srinivas (36) and K Dayakar (28) on Tuesday.
Hyderabad: V C Sajjanar, Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad has invoked PD Act as against two notorious property offenders named K Srinivas (36) and K Dayakar (28) on Tuesday.
According to police, Srinivas moving on his two-wheeler used to target women, who were wearing gold ornaments and walking alone on roads and commit chain snatching.
So far, he has committed as many as seven property offences in the year 2019. He was arrested by Shankarpally Police on March 3 and remanded to judicial custody.
Dayakar used to target the locked houses for committing offences. His modus operandi is to break open the lock using iron rod and commit theft of valuable ornaments, cash and mobile phones.
So far, he has committed eight property offences in the year 2018 and 2019. He was arrested by Jeedimetla Police on June 12 and remanded to judicial custody.
