Vijayashanti to join BJP: TRS and MIM are inseparable Siamese Twins, says the actor-turned-politician

Hyderabad: Congress leader Vijayashanti is likely to switch loyalties to BJP. Although this speculation has been doing rounds for some time, news was out on Sunday evening that the actor-turned-politician was all set to adorn saffron scarf on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Vijayashanti stated that both TRS and MIM parties were inseparable Siamese twins. She was reacting to a sensational remark made by MIM MLA Mumtaz Ahmed Khan on Sunday that his party could oust TRS government in two months if they wished so.

She alleged match-fixing between TRS and MIM and said a conspiracy was hatched to mislead the voters in the GHMC polls. "TRS government does not need the support of MIM with seven MLAs. Does MIM intend to create communal clashes and overthrow the government? Once the GHMC polls are over, TRS and MIM will join hands once again. They will forge an alliance even if it is not required," she said.

Vijayashanti also made a mention of developments in recent Bihar elections. "If TRS-MIM combine defeats a strong RJD-Congress alliance in Bihar, minorities across the country would come to an assumption that Congress could no longer win in future. Their idea was to gain a strong foothold among minorities and spread across various states. Political parties are of the view that TRS provided a large number of funds required for that. However, due to those results, the news is coming that all the minorities in Telangana are discussing to move away from TRS-MIM as well.

The TRS chief held talks with the MIM to get out of that predicament and to gain the confidence of minorities. For this reason, he is making statements that he is holding meetings with national leaders to wage a war on Narendra Modi. The Federal Front drama of the TRS chief in the past is well known to all," Vijayashanti said.
