Villagers urged to utilise facilities at Anganwadis in Wanaparthy
Insisting that the villagers in the rural areas must utilise the facilities provided by the Anganwadis, Nallapotula Gopal, Sarpanch of Konduru village from Pentlavelly mandal of Wanaparthy district, urged the people to send their children who are below five years to Anganwadis and utilise the facilities provided by the government.
Wanaparthy: Insisting that the villagers in the rural areas must utilise the facilities provided by the Anganwadis, Nallapotula Gopal, Sarpanch of Konduru village from Pentlavelly mandal of Wanaparthy district, urged the people to send their children who are below five years to Anganwadis and utilise the facilities provided by the government.
"The government is providing nutritious food like eggs, Balambrutam, rice and other eatables to children. Not only this, pregnant women are also being provided medicines and healthcare facilities besides nutritious food. People should make use of such facilities," said the Sarpanch.
The Sarpanch later distributed eggs to children and pregnant women of Ward 3 Anganwadi in the village. The Sarpanch also advised the Anganwadi teacher MD Ramija not to misuse the facilities provided to people for their own purpose and warned her of severe action if they find any kind of discrepancy in their service to the children.
Vice-Sarpanch Ram, TRS youth wing leader Kethuri Dharmatej and others participated in the programme.
