He requested everyone above 18 years of age to exercise their franchise without any fear. The campaigning of all parties will end on Tuesday at 5 pm, he added. And on April 11, the election day, people can cast their votes from 7 am to 4 pm in the district, he added.

The voter slips are mandatory for all voters, informed the Collector. "To protect the democracy, cent per cent voting is compulsory. The district has 1,079 polling stations where 4,50,368 male voters, 4,69,316 female voters and 22 third gender voters can exercise their franchise," the Collector informed.
