A 55-year-old man was killed after a wall of his residence collapsed on him on Wednesday.

Mukundam Anjaiah, a resident of Kotapalli succumbed to grievous injuries when a portion of the wall fell on him following a heavy downpour. Neighbours alerted the police who reached the spot and took out the body. He used to earn his living by selling vegetables, according to the locals.

In a similar incident, an elderly man aged about 66 years died when a wall of his residence collapsed on him at Waghapur of Mavala in Adilabad. He died while undergoing treatment.
