The Wanaparthy police have arrested three minor boys on Monday who have been habituated to vehicle thefts for the last few months in the district.

Wanaparthy: The Wanaparthy police have arrested three minor boys on Monday who have been habituated to vehicle thefts for the last few months in the district. According to Wanaparthy Assistant Superintendent of Police Shakir Hussain, the three minor boys who were habituated to spending lavish lives took to vehicle theft and selling the spare parts to the mechanic shops and earning through illegal means to meet their finances.

As part of a regular police check, the police team led by Circle Inspector Surya Nayak intercepted a bike where the three minor boys were riding on a bike sans number plate. Upon enquiring the minors, the police found surprising details and after thorough interrogation, they could recover four vehicles from their possession.

"We have arrested three minor boys who are habitual offenders and stealing vehicles on a regular basis and selling them to earn illegally. All of them have been sent to remand," said ASP Shakir Hussain.
