Woman, her two children jumps into lake in Karimnagar

In a sordid incident, a woman jumped into a lake along with her two children here at Karimnagar. The body of a child has been found floating on water while two others who have gone missing are yet to be traced.

The woman identified as Ramya has gone out of her house along with her two children on Sunday. However, one of the bodies of children was found in SRSP lake. Locals alerted the police who registered a case and deployed expert swimmers to trace the other two.

On February 19, 2019 - a 26-year-old woman attempted suicide along with her two children by jumping into Hussainsagar. However, the trio was rescued by the lake police. The police counselled the woman and handed over her to parents.
