Women kills daughter, commits suicide
In a gruesome incident, a mother had killed her eight-year-old daughter by stabbing her with a knife in her house and later committed suicide by consuming pesticide at Palem village of Kottakota mandal in Wanaparthy district on Monday.

According to villagers, Nirmala (33) had lost her husband two years back and was left alone with her daughter Sindhu.
Ever since the loss of her husband, Nirmala was under depression and always worried. It is said that on Monday, Nirmala had killed her daughter by stabbing her with a knife and later, she also committed suicide by consuming pesticide.
The villagers who found her in the grave situation shifted her and her daughter to Wanaparthy area hospital. But both of them were declared brought dead by the doctors.
