Youth arrested for blackmailing classmate
The Rachakonda Cyber Crime sleuths on Wednesday nabbed a stalker Mohammed Rayanuddin (19) from his college hostel at Shankarpally on Wednesday and seized two smart phones from his possession.
Hyderabad: The Rachakonda Cyber Crime sleuths on Wednesday nabbed a stalker Mohammed Rayanuddin (19) from his college hostel at Shankarpally on Wednesday and seized two smart phones from his possession.
According to officials, on Tuesday a complaint was received from a victim, a resident Saroor Nagar, in which she stated that she is studying BBA 2nd year at a private college in Gandipet and the accused Rayanuddin is also studying in the same class.
For few months he has been following her and forced her to be friend and asked her to be with him and talk to him which she denied. The accused then threatened to kill her. She agreed to do as he told her. Taking advantage the accused went to the extent of taking intimate photographs and selfies with her and forcibly took her to restaurants.
If she does not oblige the same he threatened of sending the selfies and photographs to her parents and thus he started blackmailing her, due to fear she behaved accordingly.
One day when she went to a cinema hall to watch a movie along with her parents, he called and demanded to go to the washroom and send her nude photos to him; otherwise he would send the previous selfies and photos to her parents.
On his threatening, she shared her photos to him through WhatsApp. The victim said since then, the accused made her life a hell by blackmailing. On receipt of the complaint a case has been registered under section 354(D), 506, 509 IPC and 67 A of IT Act and took up investigation.
