13 students of RMC schools selected for IIITs: Sumit Kumar
As many as 13 students of municipal corporation schools were selected for IIITs in the state as against of 21 students of last year.
Rajamahendravaram: As many as 13 students of municipal corporation schools were selected for IIITs in the state as against of 21 students of last year. These students met corporation Commissioner Sumit Kumar here on Friday.
Congratulating the students, the commissioner said that the corporation strengthened all its schools in the city by filling vacant teacher posts and providing necessary facilities. The corporation teachers are providing quality teaching to the students by updating their teaching skills.
All the 13 students are selected from Super 60 category in the corporation. He advised them to master in their selected branches to bring name and fame to the corporation and also asked them to put their efforts to achieve their goal in their life.
The commissioner also asked them not to waste time and concentrate on studies to be a model to other students. Additional commissioner NVV Satyanarayana Rao, school supervisor Anand and others were present.
