Guntur: Traffic police booked cases against the vehicle riders using police siren in the busy areas in Guntur and creating disturbance to the general public. Based on the Whatsapp videos and photos sent by the public to the traffic police, officials responded and booked the cases.
The traffic police seized five vehicles and booked criminal cases against them. They issued notices to the vehicle owners for using police siren and shop owners for selling sirens.
Speaking on this occasion, Traffic DSP Supraja warned that if private persons use police siren and ambulance siren, they will book cases against them and take stern action. She urged the people give such information on phone numbers 8688831441,8688831442 and 8688831445.
