Amaravati: The office of the Chief Electoral Officer has received complaints on postal ballots stating that there were multiple votes issued to some employees who were engaged in the election duty.
CEO Gopalakrishna Dwivedi said on Wednesday that he directed the District Collectors to investigate into the complaints. He said that one employee should get only one postal ballot vote. He also said that private employees wouldn't get postal ballots.
He informed the political parties that if they had any doubts on election counting employees, then they can bring them to his notice.
