The CPI (M) national general secretary Narayana explained that no one has the right to say no after the Election Commission announces its decision. He told a media conference in Narasaraopet, Guntur district that there were differences between Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and the State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh from the beginning.

He said the CM has no power to challenge the Election Commission. Narayana reminded that the court also erred in the government's decision. He said there should be no clash with Election Commission. He said he had not seen the governments so far, which are against the Election Commission's decision.

It is knew that State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar has announced the schedule for the Gram Panchayat elections in Andhra Pradesh. In the wake of this the government moved the High Court. It is learnt that the case was filed on Saturday seeking an order restraining the SEC from going ahead with the election.
