The CM ordered the officials to regularize the plots and houses of the poor for Rs 1 per two cents of land. In a high-level review meeting held on Thursday with Revenue Minister Pilli Subhash Chandra Bose, Urban Development Minister Botsa Satyanarayana, Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath and Housing and Construction Minister Ranganatha Raj, Jagan announced that the govt would issue house registration copies to the poor on next Ugadi.

The decision of the government to regularize the houses for rupees 1 would benefit the poor in urban areas.

With the possibility of damage to the people whose houses lying along the river beds, the CM ordered that the allocation of places and homes should be given to these people.

"In urban areas, it is better to build houses rather than apartments. CM asserted"

Jagan suggested that the applications should be received until January. The number of beneficiaries so far has exceeded 20 lakh; officials told CM. Officials who have identified 19,389 acres of land for distribution of homes in rural areas, said another 8,000 acres might be required while 2559 acres have been identified in urban areas.
