The government has taken another decision with the aim of providing money every month to all old-age pensioners. The Chief Minister's office has directed that no beneficiary should be in trouble for receiving the pension and decided to distribute for three days. The decision will take effect from December. With this, on December 1, 2 and 3, the volunteers will go to the homes of the beneficiaries and distribute the pensions. From July this year, the authorities have restricted the distribution of pensions to a single date, with CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy directing to pay their pensions on the same day every month as the employees who receive wages on the same day.

Distribution was allowed for two days in remote areas such as tribal areas. Those who were unable to take the pension on the first day due to reasons when the volunteers went to deliver are being paid, the amount would be paid including arrears for the next month. The Chief Minister directed that no beneficiaries should be inconvenienced in this manner and steps should be taken to ensure pension to all. With this, it was decided to distribute the pensions for three days every month from December. With this, it is possible for everyone to get a pension. Authorities are looking into making arrangements at the respective ward and village secretariats for those who are unable to take even within these three days for any reason.

Pensions will be distributed to 61,69,832 people for three days from December 1. For this, Rs 1,510.90 crore have been released by the government and deposited in the accounts of all ward and village secretariat in the state on Monday. Those who have not taken the pension for three consecutive months have to suspend the pension as per the rules and continue only after re-examination. This month's money will be distributed to 7,462 people who have not taken their pensions for three consecutive months, along with three months' arrears.
