AP High Court suspends GO 1 over the restrictions on political parties meetings

The Andhra Pradesh High Court has issued key orders and dismissed GO 1 pertaining to the restrictions on the political parties meetings and roadshows.

It is known that the AP government has brought GO No. 1 not to hold meetings on roads and intersections across the state.

According to this GO, political parties should not hold meetings on the roads. However, the opposition parties have filed a petition challenging GO and he High Court has suspended GO 1.
