Atchannaidu indulges in corruption, hence arrested: Sucharitha
The Government could not remain as silent spectator after knowing the corruption of the people in the system and hence arrested the TDP MLA and former Minister Kinjarapu Atchannaidu, observed the Home Minister Mekathoti Sucharita while reacting on it on Friday at Prathipadu in Guntur, with the media persons.

She said that Atchannaidu was responsible for violations worth more than Rs 100 cr in the ESI scam. She informed that the accused people will be brought into the media.
The Home Minister questioned that when TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu enjoyed at the time of arrest of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, why not he welcome the arrest of accused Atchannaidu. She asked Naidu whether the rule of law applicable to TDP leaders or not? She said that Atchannaidu indulged in the purchase of Rs 100 cr drugs. They claimed the bills without procuring the drugs. She further blamed that without calling for tenders, they procured the produce. Government has been probing into all these allegations, she added.
All the responsible persons will be brought into the court, she added. The police intimated prior to arrest of the Atchannaidu, she told. Followed all the procedures.
Refusing the criticism of Chandrababu Naidu, she said that police arrested Atchannaidu in a proper manner only.
