In our Telugu states, the police are not even looking at such things and just leaving those with minor fines not to hurt the poor. So, the Andhra Pradesh government had focussed on this to curb the accidents. The RTO officials decided to seize the vehicles, which have no proper documents. Along with hefty fines, the culprits will be sent go to jail.

In 2019, 88,872 AP-wide drivers were found driving a car without a driving license. The matter was reported to the Supreme Court Committee on Road Safety. "Why are people driving vehicles without a driving license in AP; Why is the government not taking serious action, " Supreme Court committee questioned.

The AP government has now simplified the driving license system where the govt has brought changes in issuing the driving license. The minimum qualification for getting a license is reduced to class 8 and also Scientific driving test tracks would be implemented soon. Once you get a driving license, is valid for 30 years ... so it's good to apply.
