Vijayawada: Transport Minister Perni Venkataramaiah presented the Best Teacher award to Mynam Hussain of SPS Municipal Corporation High School in the presence of MLC KS Lakshman Rao, AS Ramakrishna and DEO MV Rajya Lakshmi here on Thursday.
Hussain is a Physics teacher working in Vijayawada Municipal Corporation school for the last 19 years. He received the five National Science Fair Awards and had motivated 1,000 students and about 100 teachers in the district in science and technology.
He also penned a few Physical Science books for Class X students. He conducted many awareness programmes and rallies on Science.
