Vijayawada: Residents of Nandamuri Nagar celebrated the Bhogi festival with gaiety on Tuesday. The residents lit the bonfire and performed the rituals.

Bhogi is one of the three-day festival wherein bonfire lit and people enjoy in the chilly winter. The residents of VLN Apartment elaborate made arrangements for celebrating Bhogi.

The Apartment Welfare Association president and secretary S Naidu, Rangavalli, Treasurer V Giri and others joyfully participated in the festival celebration.

Youth, elders and children began the three-day festival in a grand manner and greeted one another on the occasion.
