Certificates to differently-abled to be presented from Dec 15: Minister Taneti Vanitha
Minister for Woman and Child Welfare Taneti Vanitha expressed her delight to be a part of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD).
Vijayawada: Minister for Woman and Child Welfare Taneti Vanitha expressed her delight to be a part of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD). She was the chief guest of the programme held at Tummalapalli Kalakshetram on Tuesday.
Addressing the gathering, the Minister said that the government has introduced many welfare schemes to the disabled. Pension was increased to Rs 3,000 soon after YSRCP came to power. She said that as per the instructions of the Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Sadaram certificate to the handicapped will be issued at mandal, constituency, district and PHC level soon.
A GO in this regard has been issued and from December 15 certificates will be issued to the beneficiaries, she said and added that five percent reservation will be implemented to the disabled.
