It is a well-known fact that former TDP youth president Devineni Avinash joined the YCP in the presence of CM Jagan yesterday. Minister Kodali Nani responded to Avinash's party entry. Nani said he welcomes Avinash into the YCP. He alleged that Chandrababu made Avinash a scapegoat by making him (Avinash) contest in Gudivada.
Kodali Nani said that TDP MLAs are frustrated with Chandrababu leaving the party because he does not like his son Lokesh's style. "TDP will lose its opposition status." Nani asserted. Earlier, the minister inaugurated a sand stock point at Gudivada Mandalam Mallaipalayam.
In the 2019 elections, Devineni Avinash contested from Gudivada on behalf of TDP and lost to YCP candidate Kodali Nani. Kodali Nani is currently Minister of Civil Affairs in the Cabinet. On the other hand, Gannavaram MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi has also announced that he will soon join the YCP. He is very close to Kodali.
