Chirala: The FPOS and NGOs meet on Technology Transfer Training Program by Rural Development and Self Employment Training Institute and National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development was held at the Rotary Club of Chirala on Friday.

The NABARD DDM V Venkata Ramana explained the farmers about the cultivation of millets, experiments to increase production and the water management for the crop while the RUDSETI director GS Murthy explained about the modern-day agriculture and the technologies being utilized in the farms. They encouraged the farmers to start using the technologies available in the new age and receive more produce and income from it.

The chief manager of Canara Bank Chirala Usha, Chirala mandal agriculture officer Suneetha, Andhra Bank manager Venkata Manidhar, FLC Coordinator Partha Saradhy and others also participated in the program.
