Coronavirus in Visakhapatnam: Yet another 124 containment zones identified in the district
With the increase of Coronavirus cases in Visakhapatnam over the past few weeks taking the total tally to 427, the authorities are identifying the areas into containment zones based on the severity of cases.
Visakhapatnam: With the increase of Coronavirus cases in Visakhapatnam over the past few weeks taking the total tally to 427, the authorities are identifying the areas into containment zones based on the severity of cases. Currently, there are 124 containment zones in Visakhapatnam, which are further classified into Very Active, Active, and Dormant clusters respectively.
These clusters are defined based on the cases. If the cases have been reported in an area in the past six weeks, then it is categorised into Very active while the cases have not been reported in 6-14 days then the area is considered as Active cluster and if there are no cases at all, then it is said to be placed in Dormant clusters. Here are the new set of 124 containment zones in Visakhapatnam announced.
