SMS number provided for local temple darshan booking In red zone areas, temples will be allowed for devotees only after the restrictions are relaxed

Tirupati: Following the relaxation of lockdown rules by the state government, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has decided to commence darshan for devotees in its local temples also from Monday. Devotees have to book for darshan through online, machines installed at the shrines and also SMS for which codes were given by the TTD for its temples (in brackets).

The temples include Sri Padmavati Ammavari Temple (SVP), Tiruchanoor, Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy (SVS) temple, Srinivasa Mangapuram, Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy Temple (SVA), Appalayagunta, Sri Govindarajaswami (SVG) Temple and Sri Kapileswara Swamy (SVK) temple in Tirupati.

Ticket vending will commence from June 8. Devotees have to log into https:tirupatibalaji.ap.gov.in for getting darshan tickets in TTD local temples. Similarly, they can send SMS to 9321033330 in the format: Temple Name (Space) Date (space) and Number of persons.

For example Ex- SVG 9-06-2020 6 denotes Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple, 9-06-2020 is darshan date and 6 indicates the number of persons for darshan. In Sri Padmavati, Sri Govindaraja Swamy and Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy temples darshan starts at 7.30 am and closes by 6.00 pm, while in Sri Kapileswara Swamy temple darshan will be from 7.30 in the morning up to 5.30 in the evening.

The darshan in Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy temple will start from 11 a.m. and will be closed at 5 p.m. on Monday while from June 11 onwards the darshan will be from 7.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

Meanwhile, at popular local temple Sri Thathaiagunta Gangamma under Endowment department in the city, the darshan remain suspended as the locality where the temple is located comes under red zone and darshan would commence only after the Corporation lifts red zone restrictions.
