Chittoor:Deputy Chief Minister K Narayana Swamy lashes out at Rajya Sabha member Sujana Choudary for the latter's comments on Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy. Ignoring his political back ground, the former Union minister made baseless allegations against Jagan Mohan Reddy during his Gandhiji Sankalpa Yathra held in GD Nellore Assembly constituency on Wednesday, said Narayanaswamy.
The Deputy Chief Minister said to The Hans India at GD Nellore on Thursday that Sujana Choudary has defected to BJP, leaving his long association with TDP in order to safeguard his personal interests.
``Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has introduced a number of revolutionary schemes to protect the interest of all sections in the state. To eradicate corruption, he has opted for reverse tendering for Polavaram and Amaravati projects. Sujana made baseless comments against CM,'' he regretted.
Minister for Excise Narayana Swamy further said that Jagan Mohan Reddy has been striving to correct the lapses of the previous government from grass root level. He exuded confidence that Jagan would exercise all his powers to achieve special category status to State in an amicable manner, he added.
