Eluru: Superintendent of Police Navdeep Singh Grewal has said that as per instructions from Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the West Godavari police would set up Disha police station in the district within two weeks.
He received petitions from the people at Spandana programme at the police headquarters here on Monday. Speaking on the occasion, he said the police station exclusively deals with crimes against women and children. The police station would ensure the culprits in crimes against women get punishment in stipulated time.
The Superintendent of Police received complaints on various issues concerning public. He talked to the concerned police officials through live video streaming and gave instructions to them to settle the problems raised at the 'Spandana' programme.
