Five killed and one injured as their car rammed into a lorry
In a road mishap that occurred in Prakasam district in the afternoon of Friday, five people have died on the spot as the car they are travelling is rammed into a stationed lorry on NH 16.
Kandukur: In a road mishap that occurred in Prakasam district in the afternoon of Friday, five people have died on the spot as the car they are travelling is rammed into a stationed lorry on NH 16.
According to the initial reports, the victims are of the same family travelling from Karim Nagar in Telangana to Tirumala to have a darshan of Lord Venkateswara in their Honda City with registration number TS02EW1112. The mishap occurred at Mocherla village in the Gudluru mandal, neat Tettu in Prakasam district. In the accident, the grandparents, parents and brother of the injured boy have died on the spot. The national highway officials and police officials reached the spot immediately and pulled the car out of the lorry. They shifted the injured boy to a hospital in Kavali.
