Freedom fighter celebrates 92nd birthday
Manorama and Arjuna Rao Ravuri Public Utility Trust (MAARPU Trust) has celebrated the 92nd birthday of its founder president R Manorama amidst the students of Vanapamula ZP High School near Gudivada, Krishna district on Saturday.
Gudivada: Manorama and Arjuna Rao Ravuri Public Utility Trust (MAARPU Trust) has celebrated the 92nd birthday of its founder president R Manorama amidst the students of Vanapamula ZP High School near Gudivada, Krishna district on Saturday.
Her husband, 104-year-old Ravuri Arjuna Rao who is also a freedom fighter, was present. On the occasion, the Trust has distributed notebooks and writing material to all the students of the high school.
Prizes were also given away to the first rank holders in the annual examination of 2019 in all the classes from 6th to 9th. On the occasion, the Trustees have announced that regular visits by a doctor would be arranged from next month onwards to attend the health needs of the students and the residents of Vanapamula village.
Medicines will also be distributed to the needy during these visits. The trustees including Dr Yerneni Venkateswara Rao, Prof Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad, RAvuri Milav, Dr Tallamraju Suseela, Ravuri Koteswara Rao, Ravuri Chunav, Ravuri Sadik, Kale Santhosh, Ravuri Suez and Dr Ravuri Power announced scholarships to the first rank holders of the school in 10th class public examinations every year starting from 2019.
