Visakhapatnam: Government Institute of Chemical Engineering (GICE) in Visakhapatnam received certification of ISO 21001:2018 Educational Organisations Management Systems (EOMS) Policy certification for its commitment towards a culture of redefining excellence in chemical engineering education.
The certification was received for the GICE’s quality enhancement through the process of continual improvement of education in all its initiatives comprising teaching, learning, evaluating, etc.
The GICE officials mentioned that the institution is committed to comply with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, social responsibility and safeguarding of intellectual property.
The Principal of the institution stated that the certification has set a new standard for the GICE to grow further in future and cater to the needs of the students.
According to the certification body TUV SUD South Asia Private Limited, the certificate will be valid up to October 2026 subject to the successful completion of annual periodic audits.
