CM YS Jagan has expressed outrage over the incident at Pedagarlapadu village of Dachepalli mandal in Guntur district. The DGP and the Collector have been instructed to take immediate legal action against the accused. The CM instructed the police and the authorities to act harshly without causing such incidents elsewhere in the state.

Home Minister Sucharitha said the incident had taken place within 24 hours of the incident. We have ordered the authorities to take legal action. The victim is currently recovering in hospital on behalf of the government.

State Woman's Commission Chairperson Vasireddy Padma, who visited the family of a girl who had been sexually assaulted, said that govt would protect the village. Also, the women commission chairperson Padma visited a six-year-old girl who was admitted to the Narasaraoopettu government hospital after being sexually assaulted in Dadachepalli Mandalam Pedagarlapadu on Friday.

She told reporters that she had spoken to District Collector Samuel Anand Kumar about the incident. The Mahila Commission is taking the initiative to ensure full assistance from the government to the victims. When the police report is received, the family will initially receive a certain amount of financial assistance.

The victim was taken to Guntur government hospital for better treatment despite the girl's condition being stable. She said it was unfortunate that such incidents had taken place in the past in Dachachepalli in Palnadu. He spoke to the SI there. The accused was said to have been arrested. Parents need to educate girls on such atrocities. She demanded on behalf of the Women's Commission to impose harsh punishment on the accused.
