Kadapa: Deputy Chief Minister Amzath Basha has said the government has decided to enhance the number of districts to 25 from the 13 in the days to come. Addressing press conference here on Saturday the Deputy Chief Minister said that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has plans to increase the number of districts to provide transparency in government and for the welfare of people.

He said 80 percent of people in the state are expressing satisfaction over the YSR Congress government rule as it has implemented a number welfare schemes, development works despite financial crisis. He said that YCP government has fulfilled 90percent promises which were given to people during 2019 electioneering. However, he admitted that spread of Covid -19 is rampant and added that about 9 lakh tests were conducted till date in the state.

He said that people will have safe rule by shifting of capital to Visakhapatnam.
