Guntur: Former Director-General of Police Malakondaiah on Wednesday explained the problems faced by the officials while discharging their duties at a programme held under the aegis of Political Science Department in the Acharya Nagarjuna University.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that people's representatives will mount pressure on the officials to implement their instructions, but the officials have to explain actual situation and problems involved in it and convince them. He said, some times they may explain in writing also.
Malakondaiah said that people's representatives and the officials should follow the rules and respect the Constitution. Furthermore, he said that if we understand the responsibilities of the officials and extend cooperation, their efficiency will improve. He added that the officials will improve their efficiency, if they learn administration continuously. Prof Ravi Sekhar was also present on the occasion.
