HDOA honours Ministers in Vijayawada
The members of Horticulture Department Officers Association (HDOA) led by its president P Hanumantha Rao gave a representation to the Minister for Agriculture and Horticulture K Kanna Babu with a request to solve their unsolved and pending problems.
Vijayawada: The members of Horticulture Department Officers Association (HDOA) led by its president P Hanumantha Rao gave a representation to the Minister for Agriculture and Horticulture K Kanna Babu with a request to solve their unsolved and pending problems. Minister for Endowments Vellampalli Srinivas was also present on the occasion.
The Association members honoured the Ministers with shawld at the Roads & Buildings guest house here on Friday. Addressing the media, Hanumantha Rao said that direct recruitment procedure should be cancelled for promotion of Horticulture Officer as Assistant Horticulture Director.
He said that as there was a wide scope to help the farmers, the government should solve the issues pending in the horticulture department. He demanded that the government fill the vacant additional director posts through GO 66 of 2009 which was implemented by the then chief minister YS Rajashekara Reddy. He said that the minister Kanna Babu assured to solve the issues.
