High Court Disagrees To Restore GO 63 Of Power Purchase Agreements

AP high court struck down the GO 63 of power purchase agreement. The government of Andhra Pradesh has order for review on all power purchases in the state.
The power companies who aquired the contracts in last government moved to high court in this regard. The court on Tuesday passed it's judgement and said that it is government's decision to review the Power Purchase Agreements, which cannot be restored.
The high court agreed to the government's decision of moving to APERCs, therefore, the HC also ordered the companies to sell the power for the reduced prices and the tariff problems would be resolved in Six months time.
