National ‘Hindi Day’ was celebrated at KCP Siddhartha Adarsh Residential Public School on the school premises on a grand scale on Saturday.

Vijayawada: National 'Hindi Day' was celebrated at KCP Siddhartha Adarsh Residential Public School on the school premises on a grand scale on Saturday. The day began with the lighting of lamp by the chief guest Dr Y Lalitha Kumari, principal, Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha accompanied with the convener Veerapaneni Sasikala and principal K Srihari.

Addressing the students on this occasion, Lalitha Kumari said that self-confidence is the only tool for the students to achieve their goals and she also made a point on the language Hindi that this is the only language in which the spoken words can be written in the same format. She exhorted the students to learn Hindi.

Public School Principal, Srihari said that Hindi language was being spoken all over the world and stood third in the world. He said that it was the only language that unites everyone in the country.

On this occasion, school convener Veerapaneni Sasikala congratulated the Hindi Department and the students for playing their best role. A large number of teachers, parents and students participated in the programme.
