Guntur: Minister for Fisheries and MP Mopidevi Venkata Ramana Rao assured that he will try to get more funds and new projects for the development of state from the Centre.
Addressing media at I&B Guest house here on Monday, he thanked the Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy for sending Alla Ayodhya Rami Reddy and himself to Rajya Sabha from Guntur district.
He recalled that the YSRCP government was giving top priority for BCs and sent two BCs from the state to Rajya Sabha.
He said the government fulfilled all assurances given to farmers, who gave their land for the construction of state capital and gave better package to farmers in the state capital.
He thanked Jagan Mohan Reddy for dropping the proposal to conduct auction for selling PVK Naidu Municipal Corporation land in Guntur. MLAs Kilari Rosaaiah, Md Mustafa, Maddali Giridhar Rao were present in the press meet.
