New Delhi: The YSRCP Machilipatnam MP Bala Showry has written a letter to Speaker Om Prakash Birla to install the statue of the late Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy in Parliament.
In the letter, MP recalled that as a one rupee doctor, YSR had provided the medical services. Later, along with Fee Reimbursement and Aarogyasri scheme, YSR started Jalayagnam program with the Polavaram and Pulichintala projects.
MP Bala Showry urged the Speaker to honour YSR by installing his statue in the Parliament. He clarified that with the welfare schemes, YSR is living in the hearts of the people.
On the occasion of YSR Jayanthi celebrations on 8 July, MP Bala Showry has requested the Speaker to take a decision.
